Our Facilities
In October 2018, CCST moved to a new purpose built research facility.
The 30 bed unit is organised into 4 wards with private screening rooms and sponsor monitoring areas.
CCST is a secure alarmed premise with monitored access and an emergency Generator which can supply power to essential equipment.
Our unit is equipped with state of the art medical equipment including:
- A fully configured MUSE ECG management system which offers compliance to FDA’s 21CFA Part II regulations for submitting patient ECG information. ECGs can be electronically transmitted in XML or Hilltop format.
- BP monitoring (24 hr and ambulatory blood pressure monitoring)
- GPS central clock system throughout the unit, synchronised to our computer networks.
- Electronic nurse call system, emergency call system and fully equipped resuscitation trolleys.
- Temperature controlled processing Laboratory equipped with refrigerated variable speed centrifuges and alarm monitored -35C and -80C freezers.
- Temperature controlled Pharmacy is safeguarded by controlled entry and hosts alarm monitored refrigerated storage and a Class II Biological Safety Cabinet.
- Study participant area with a large CCTV monitored lounge and dining room, Sky television, DVD’s, Play station and unlimited free WiFi.
- Our quality management system managed by Q – Pulse assists the delivery of services to the highest standards in alignment with:

- We have IT systems facilitating eCRF reporting and Electronic Data Transfer.
